Following making his MCU debut in last year’s Captain America: Civil War, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther has his own movie arriving early next year. And now that film has brought in another new addition to its ranks.

Marvel Studios has announced that Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown has now joined Marvel’s Black Panther. The This is Us and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story actor will be playing N’Jobi, a mysterious figure from the past of Boseman’s T’Challa.

Brown joins a cast that includes the aforementioned Chadwick Boseman and the likes of Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya, Florence Kasumba, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and Angela Bassett.

To be directed by Creed’s Ryan Coogler, Black Panther is currently set for a February 16th, 2018 release.
