Shane Black’s The Predator is close to making another new addition to its cast, this time looking to bring in Sterling K. Brown.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that Brown, best known for The People vs. O.J. Simpson, is in talks for the role of a government agent in the movie. If he does indeed sign on to join The Predator, he’ll be joining a cast that currently includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes and Keegan-Michael Key.

All that’s known about the plot of this new film is that it will exist in the same continuity as the first two Predator movies. Interestingly, Arnold Schwarzenegger has had “lunch” with Shane Black to discuss his Dutch character returning in some fashion.

Black has penned the screenplay with Monster Squad co-writer Fred Dekker, and The Predator is due to start shooting next month ahead of a February 2018 release.
