There’s a little movie on the horizon for the end of this year called STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS. You may have heard of it. It’s now being reported, courtesy of Twitch, that J.J. Abrams’ jaunt to a galaxy far, far away has added three familiar names from the acclaimed RAID franchise.

The star of THE RAID and THE RAID 2, Iko Uwais, who plays Rama in the two films, is the most well-known name in this recent addition. He’ll be joined by Yayan Ruhian, who played Mad Dog in the first film and Prakoso in the sequel, and Cecep Arif Rahman, best known for the awesome kitchen fight sequence in THE RAID 2.

In terms of how the trio will appear in the film, no specific roles have been confirmed at this stage, although there’s a strong chance that the three could serve as fight choreographers in EPISODE VII whether they actually have on-screen roles in the film or not.

To be directed by J.J. Abrams, STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS is released on December 18th.
