Horror Channel, the UK’s premier source of televisual terror, has announced that they will be boldly going to be the exclusive UK TV home of the remastered Star Trek series.

The channel, owned by CBS Studios International and AMC Networks International, has announced that the Original Series will move from its current home – CBS Action – to Horror Channel in January 2017. The show will air every weeknight at 6 pm with a repeat screening the following weekday at 9 am, which will guarantee to delight both hard-core fans and gain plenty of new Trekkies, too.

Mike Moriarty, President, AMC Networks International UK and Central Europe, said of the announcement, “We are pleased Horror Channel will become the new exclusive home of Star Trek: The Original Series on UK television and for this iconic show to join our amazing line-up of well-loved and cult science-fiction and fantasy series and movies. We’re excited to boldly go with the original Enterprise crew on all their classic adventures.”

Horror Channel can be found on Sky 319, Virgin 149, Freeview 70, and Freesat 138.
