As the show gets set to debut later this year, Star Trek: Discovery has brought in three new cast members.

The upcoming series has announced Army Wives’ Terry Serpico as Admiral Anderson, a high-ranking official of Starfleet; 30 Rock’s Maulik Pancholy as Dr. Nambue, the Chief Medical Officer of the Starship Shenzhou; and The Following’s Sam Vartholomeos as Ensign Connor, a Junior Officer in Starfleet Academy assigned to the Starship Shenzhou.

These new additions join a cast that’s currently made up of Sonequa Martin-Green as the titular ship’s Lieutenant Commander, Doug Jones as Lt. Saru, Anthony Rapp as Lt. Stamets, Michelle Yeoh as Captain Georgio, James Frain as Sarek (the father of Spock), and Klingon roles for Mary Chieffo, Shazad Latif and Chris Obi.

Taking place a decade before the original Star Trek series, Star Trek: Discovery will debut on CBS and then CBS All Access in the US, with the series to have a home on Netflix in the UK and a whole host of other countries.
