It seems that barely a day goes by right now without some sort of casting news for Spider-Man: Homecoming, and today is no different.

The upcoming solo movie for Tom Holland’s Wallcrawler has now added Better Call Saul’s Michael Mando and Fargo’s Bokeem Woodbine to its ever-expanding cast. No major details are known on the exact roles that the pair are playing, although Woodbine’s part is said to be that of a bad guy. Whether that means a generic thug or a nefarious rogue from Spidey lore remains to be seen.

Mando and Woodbine join a cast that currently includes Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Maria Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Kenneth Choi as the Principal of Midtown High, Zendaya as a female lead known as Michelle, and unknown roles for Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., J.J. Totah, and Hannibal Burress. On the villain front, Michael Keaton is on board to play the ‘big bad’ of the film, believed to be Adrian Toomes/The Vulture, whilst Logan Marshall-Green will be playing a secondary villain who could well be C-lister extraordinaire, The Tinkerer.

To be directed by Cop Car’s Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently set for a July 7th, 2017 release.
