As Spider-Man: Homecoming starts to pull its cast together, the film has now added another new addition to its ranks.

Heroic Hollywood broke the news, which was later confirmed by Deadline, that 14-year-old Michael Barbieri has joined the upcoming Spidey solo movie in a mystery role. Barbieri has got a busy few months ahead of him as he’s also recently joined the big screen adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower.

The young actor joins a cast that currently includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Zendaya as a female lead known as Michelle, and unknown roles for Laura Harrier and Tony Revolori. Additionally, Michael Keaton is reportedly close to signing on to play the villain of the film, believed to be Adrian Toomes/The Vulture. Other reports claim that The Vulture will be assisted in his work by C-lister extraordinaire, The Tinkerer, who will help develop the rogue’s famed harness and suit from Chitauri technology left over from Avengers Assemble‘s Battle of New York..

To be directed by Cop Car’s Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently set for a July 7th, 2017 release.
