Sir Comic-Con of San Diego has bestowed a number of fresh release dates upon us, and they concern Sinister Six, The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and Uncharted.

Writer/director Drew Goddard will unleash his antagonistic piece Sinister Six on November 11th, 2016. Following on from his directorial debut The Cabin in the Woods of which he co-wrote with superhero daddy Joss Whedon, this team of baddies will allow him to expand his deconstruction of the darkness lurking within our dimension. Said Sony Pictures’ Doug Belgrad of the filmmaker “With Sinister Six in the hands of writer-director Drew Goddard, we feel extremely confident placing the film on a prime date in 2016″.

Next is the change of date for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 which has been replaced by Uncharted on 10th June, 2016. Seth Gordon is in directing mode for the video-game adaptation and the studio is reportedly chasing the signature of Mark Wahlberg for the lead role of Nathan Drake. Andrew Garfield’s arachnid franchise has been critically lagging of late and this has forced Sony’s hand to throw the release date all the way back to sometime in 2018.
