Independent genre publisher Snowbooks has opened as submissions window for its latest anthology which will be called GAME OVER.

The collection is for horror stories inspired by video games, with a focus on nostalgia. Editors are looking for stories that evoke games such as Q*Bert and Space Invaders, but without infringing any specific IP.

Stories inspired by Frogger, Centipede, Pac-Man, Gauntlet, Tetris, Rampage, and Donkey Kong are already planned.

The project is being put together by prominent Fighting Fantasy author Jonathan Green, and will feature works by figures that are well known in the games industry. The window is open to anyone who can put together a 5,000 to 10,000 word short story before the June 1st deadline.
