Alexandre O. Philippe’s rather brilliant DOC OF THE DEAD is due to hit DVD next week, and we’ve managed to get hold of an exclusive clip of genre fave Simon Pegg discussing his love for zombies.

Pegg is just one of a plethora of familiar faces who appear in Philippe’s documentary. Looking to examine why zombies have now become a part of the mainstream, the feature explores several different angles on the topic, including the original movie zombies, the fandom, Voodoo, comic books, social commentary, surviving real life zombie attacks, and even zombification in the animal kingdom.

DOC OF THE DEAD is released on DVD on February 23rd and you can find our review of the film here. Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for an interview with writer/director Philippe in STARBURST #410, on sale on Friday.
