Soulful comic book project Silicon Heart has reached the halfway point on its Kickstarter campaign after just three days. It is the story of a young girl who falls in love with an artificial human, and you can find our review of the first part of the book here.

The charming story of love and prejudice, set thirty years from now in the Welsh valleys, has won critical acclaim from the great and the good in the comic book industry, including Pat Mills, Mike Carey and Andrew Wildman.

The Kickstarter is to complete the story; as yet only part one of the 120-page story has been completed. Those who contribute to the campaign can get special copies of the book, unique artwork and even a ‘walk on’ part in the story.

More information can be found via their Kickstarter.
