Sci-fi horror film Significant Other will debut on Paramount+ next month, it’s been announced. Starring Maika Monroe (It Follows, Flashback, Tau), the mind-bending film comes from Villains writing-directing duo Dan Berk and Robert Olsen.

In the upcoming title, young couple Ruth (Monroe) and Harry (Jake Lacy, White Lotus) take a remote backpacking trip through the Pacific Northwest and face sinister events leading them to realize that everything about the place is not as it seems. We’re of the opinion that all isn’t right with Ruth, to say the least.

Loudon McCleery and Teal Sherer are also among the cast. The film will premiere at the New York Comic Con on October 6th, then will hit streaming the next day. It’s all shaping up to be a fun Halloween season for movies.

Significant Other will debut exclusively on Paramount+ on Friday, 7th October. Watch the official trailer below:
