As Shane Black’s Predator movie gets set to start shooting next month, the film has brought in a new addition in the shape of Trevante Rhodes.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that the Moonlight actor will be playing a former Marine alongside Boyd Holbrook’s character. Also on board at this stage is X-Men: Apocalypse’s Olivia Munn.

Titled simply The Predator, the only real details known about the film at this point is that it will fit in with the continuity of the first two Predator movies. Black has penned the screenplay alongside his Monster Squad co-scribe, Fred Dekker. Additionally, Arnold Schwarzenegger has revealed that he’s had a meeting with Shane Black, with a cameo for his Dutch a distinct possibility right now.

At present, The Predator is set for a February 9th, 2018 release.
