In some extremely sad news, Scott Wilson has passed away at the age of 76.

Wilson will be best known to genre fans for his portrayal of Hershel Greene in The Walking Dead, becoming one of the show’s most beloved characters in his three-season, thirty-episode run. The charming actor’s other credits include the likes of The Great Gatsby, Young Guns II, The Exorcist III, CSI, and Damien in a career that spanned six decades.
A warm, friendly, and hugely talented man, Scott will be missed by many.
