You awake in a room. You have no idea how you got there. Then you discover that in the rooms around you are a thousand clones of yourself, all of whom have woken up in exactly the same mysterious situation. That’s the premise of MOUSE-X, an intriguing and stylish new sci-fi-fantasy short by writer/director, Justin Tagg. MOUSE-X was shot in a warehouse in Lincoln on a budget of £5200. But you wouldn’t know it, thanks to the talent and ingenuity of Justin and his cast and crew. MOUSE-X features hi-tech sets, state of the art CGI, and sound design by leading movie trailer composers Verbal Vigilante (OBLIVION, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES) – all going to prove that, when it comes to independent film making, a little tenacity and vision (and crowd funding) can go a long, long way.
We called MOUSE X, “excellent, intriguing and clever” and praised it as one of the most imaginative short films we’ve seen in a long time. Now you can judge for yourselves by watching the film over at Vimeo.
