Sci-Fi Scarborough 2016 has announced their latest guest – the versatile Barnaby Edwards.

Barnaby is probably most famous for being a Dalek in Doctor Who, where he’s appeared in 18 episodes, but is also a regular contributor to the fantastic Big Finish range of audio adventures and recently made an appearance with Saturday Morning Kids’ TV legends Trev and Simon on their comedy audio series Strangeness in Space (along with for Who companion Sophie Aldred).

Sci-Fi Scarborough co-organiser Steve Dickinson said: “Sci-Fi Scarborough has always had an ethos of giving fans the chance to meet the creators, designers, writers, prop builders and technicians of their favourite genre series in person. It’s great to pull back the curtain and hear how your favourite characters have come to life and when you are talking about some of the most recognisable villains of all time, it was obvious that we had to have our favourite pepper shakers by the seaside”

Barnaby joins the already announced Claudia Christian and Norman Lovett, with many more guests expected to be unveiled in the coming months.
