With M. Night Shyamalan currently working on an Unbreakable and Split sequel called Glass, the writer/director has moved to confirm a new addition for the film.

Taking to his Twitter page, Shyamalan has revealed that Sarah Paulson has joined Glass. Paulson, of course, is best known to genre fans for the likes of American Gothic and for being an ever-present in American Horror Story. This genre favourite joins a cast that currently features Bruce Willis as David Dunn, James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke.

The brief early word on Glass at this stage reads:

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

At present, Glass is booked in for January 18th, 2019.
