As the spin-off to The Walking Dead shambles ever closer, Deadline reports that Sandrine Holt has been added to Fear the Walking Dead’s cast.
Holt previously had a starring role as Julie Han in the US remake of the hit French TV series The Returned, and is probably best known to Netflix subscribers as House of Card’s Gillian Cole.
Fear the Walking Dead takes place in Los Angeles at the onset of the zombie outbreak and Holt will play Bethany Exner, a “confident and skilled” doctor. Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mercedes Mason, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Kim Dickens and Cliff Curtis have already been confirmed to star.
The prequel/spin-off has already had a second season greenlit barring a chronic case of zombie fatigue.
AMC will air the first season in the US this summer.
