With three STAR WARS spin-off movies currently in the works, some news is now coming out on one of said spin-offs. MakingStarWars.net claims to have some new information on a particular STAR WARS film that will be filming alongside EPISODE VIII at Pinewood Studios.

According to this latest story, the film in question will be, as long-rumoured, a Han Solo-centric feature. At present, the film is going under the codename of “LUMINAC INDUSTRIAL GOODS”. More interestingly, the report claims that BREAKING BAD’s Aaron Paul could very well already be attached to feature in the film. Despite long-standing rumours that one of the spin-off films would focus on a young Solo, it’s said that at this stage there is no “direct implication” that Paul would be playing a younger version of the famed scruffy-looking nerf herder.

GODZILLA’s Gareth Edwards is currently attached to direct the first of the three STAR WARS spin-off movies, which will hit screens on December 16th, 2016. As such, a shooting schedule alongside EPISODE VIII would certainly fit in with Edwards’ film’s production.
