A six-page preview of the upcoming fourth issue of brutal action comic Royal Descent has been made available on the website of its publishers, Vital Publishing.

The series sees the ascension to the British throne being decided not by a mere accident of birth, but by a blue-blood battle royale in which an assortment of the British aristocracy are dumped on the abandon island of Mingulay in the Outer Hebrides, where they must fight to the death. A mix of extreme violence and social satire, the latter coming from events off the island that highlight the dystopian hellhole the UK has descended into, the series has attracted acclaim and controversy in equal measure. Judging from the unflinching violence of the next issue’s first few pages, neither will be abating any time soon.
