Marvel’s The Inhumans has found itself a director.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that Roel Reine is the person tasked with helming the two-part pilot for the series. If you remember, it was previously announced that the first two episodes of the upcoming series will actually debut in IMAX cinemas for two weeks in September before the show heads to ABC.

Scott Buck, who’s currently working on Marvel’s Iron Fist, has already been announced as being the showrunner for Marvel’s The Inhumans, and now it’s been revealed that Reine will direct the first two outings. The director is likely best known for his work on Death Race 2, Death Race 3: Inferno and The Man with the Iron Fists 2.

As for the actual Inhumans themselves, they’re a race of superhumans created by the iconic duo of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1965. All with varying, diverse powers, The Inhumans are headed up by Black Bolt and the royal family. In more recent times, the concept of the Inhumans as a race has been introduced on the small screen in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Previously, Marvel’s The Inhumans was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming movie slate before being pulled.
