Having impressed with Detective Pikachu, now comes word on director Rob Letterman’s next project.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, Letterman has signed on to helm an adaptation of Beyond Good & Evil for Netflix. This movie spin on the Ubisoft game will be a mixture of live-action and animation.

As for the Beyond Good & Evil game, that was released back in 2003. Set in 2435, the central focus was on a resistance battle on an otherworldly mining planet.

With a director now in place for Beyond Good & Evil, Netflix is currently on the hunt for a writer.
