In the continuing saga of PROMETHEUS 2, Ridley Scott has revealed that the script is done and in great shape, commenting that he’s “getting away from gods and dragons and shit. If I see one more dragon I’m going to shoot myself.”

On the subject of what form the Xenomorph will take this time out, Scott revealed, “I’m trying to reintroduce a fresher form of alien in the third act,” referring to the chest-burster scene at the end of the first film, which looked remarkably liked the original alien.

While Fox has yet to release an official release date, the film is expected to land in March 2016, with filming to begin next year. Given his busy schedule, it’s unlikely that Scott himself will be directing. More as we hear it.
