Radio Static, the geniuses behind the critically acclaimed audio show The Minister Of Chance are at it again with the promise of an intriguing new science fiction drama called The Light Of September.

The drama will star Radio Static regular Sylvester McCoy as well as a Robert Picardo, Tamsin Greig Thorbjørn Harr, and SENSE8 star Tuppence Middleton.

The plot revolves around the crew of an oceanographic research vessel Venus which becomes caught up in a series of strange happenings when probe violates the laws of physics and travels faster than the speed of light.

Radio Static fund their projects through crowdfunding. Fans can visit the Radio Static website to get their hands on rewards including: naming a character; speaking a line; visiting the studio; t-shirts, hats, keyrings and badges; sponsoring scripts and even having their name read out in the credits by the actors
