It seems all bets are off when it comes to Marvel’s Netflix-exclusive shows, but could we be getting a Hellcat series at some point down the line?

Trish Walker, played by Rachael Taylor in Marvel’s Jessica Jones, is somebody in the comic book world who is also known as the heroine Hellcat. When asked by Comic Book Resources about getting her own spin-off show, Taylor responded, “I try not to get ahead of myself and think about it too much. But of course, I mean, it would be amazing.” She also added that she’d “love to get her teeth stuck into whatever happens to the character.”

Marvel’s Netflix universe, which also takes place in the same world as the big screen Marvel Cinematic Universe, kicked off early last year with the fantastic Charlie Cox-starring Daredevil. Then came the equally-impressive Krysten Ritter-headlined Jessica Jones in late 2015, which also introduced Mike Colter as Luke Cage. So successful were these two shows, they’ve both been confirmed for a second season, with Daredevil debuting its new season on Netflix next month. As for Season 2 of Jessica Jones, that should arrive at some point in the second half of 2017. Before that, though, the second half of this year will see Colter’s Cage headline his own series, and then there’s also Iron Fist to come next year. The endgame of all of this is for all four titular heroes to eventually come together for the Defenders miniseries.

What’s more intriguing for long-time Marvel fans is that Jon Bernthal will be debuting as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, in the second season of Daredevil, with the talk being that he could very well be getting his own series down the line. Could it be that Hellcat could also be getting her own series at some point? Rachael Taylor certainly seems keen should the chance rear its head.
