He’s yet to officially debut, but it appears that Jon Bernthal’s Punisher could be getting his own TV series.

Bernthal’s Frank Castle will be a pivotal part of Daredevil’s Season 2 when that arrives on Netflix later this year, and TVLine is reporting that the on-demand service is close to giving the all clear to a Punisher spin-off show, such has been the positive response to Bernthal’s turn as The Punisher.

This would mark yet another Marvel-based show for Netflix, with the service debuting Daredevil and Jessica Jones last year and with Luke Cage on the way later this year and Iron Fist coming at a TBC date, which will likely be next year by the looks of it. Of course, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Krysten Ritter’s Jones, Mike Colter’s Cage, and the to-be-cast Iron Fist will eventually all come together for the Defenders miniseries.

Season 2 of Daredevil premieres on Netflix on Friday, March 18th.
