We’ve known that Marvel’s Inhumans was getting an initial IMAX run on September 1st, and now the details have been revealed about the series’ television premiere.

If you remember, the unique plan for Inhumans is to have the first two episodes released on IMAX screens for a two-week period. After that, the full series will head to the ABC network in the US. And now, ABC has announced that the small screen premiere date has been set as September 29th.

The current official word on the show reads:

Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return to their home before their way of life is destroyed forever.

On board to star in the currently-shooting Inhumans are Anson Mount, Serinda Swan, Iwan Rheon, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ken Leung, Ellen Woglom, Sonya Balmores, and Mike Moh.

At this stage, there’s no news on where the show will find a home here in the UK.
