Despite initial suggestion that Marvel’s Netflix-exclusive DAREDEVIL would debut in January, the show’s actual premiere date has not been announced. Until now, that is.

With production on the show having officially finished a fortnight ago, DAREDEVIL will debut on April 10th. The full 13-episode series will be made available on that date in all Netflix territories. The Charlie Cox-starrer is the first of five Netflix-exclusive Marvel shows, with A.K.A. JESSICA JONES, LUKE CAGE and IRON FIST to follow, then all four titular heroes combining their forces in THE DEFENDERS mini-series.

Ahead of the show’s debut in a few months’ time, a new poster has been made available as well as rather cool motion picture of sorts.

The official word on DAREDEVIL reads:

Starring Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsely aka The Owl), Vondie Curtis Hall (Ben Urich), Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley, Wilson Fisk’s right hand man), Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Fisk), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk), Marvel’s DAREDEVIL follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
