Lionsgate has had a bit of rejig of their upcoming movie slate, meaning their Power Rangers redo has now been pushed back.

Originally set for a January 13th, 2017 release, Power Rangers has now been moved back by two months and will instead hit the big screen on March 24th, 2017 instead. This new date sees the film now going up against Universal’s reboot of The Mummy.

With its titular heroes now cast, Power Rangers will star Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, R.J. Cyler as the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, and Becky G as the Yellow Ranger.

Dubbed a modern reinvention of the long-standing franchise, Power Rangers will be directed by Dean Israelite.
