The makers of the award-winning short Polterheist (recently seen at our very own STARBURST International Film Festival) have launched an Indiegogo campaign to expand the story into a brand-new feature length movie, Guns, Gangsters, and Ghosts.

Director David Gilbank – who has won twelve awards internationally – will be returning to helm the feature version of his short from a script he wrote with Paul Renhard and UK playwright Gemma Head.

A distribution deal is already in place for the film once it’s complete, but before that happens, the team need your help to get it made. It’s a chance to get involved in a small way in the making of a future classic. Just watch the original short Polterheist below to find out what to expect and check out the talent of all involved:

The Polterheist film will be filmed in Bradford and will star the short’s original team – Kathryn Hanke (whose performance in the short version won her the Best Actor award in April at the Discover Film Festival in London – beating even the mighty John Hurt!), Jamie Smelt, and Sid Akbar Ali, both highly regarded and successful actors.

The film promises to be brutal, powerful, scary, and also bloody funny, so get involved while you can!

Head over to the Guns, Gangsters, and Ghosts Indiegogo page to help fund the film now!
