After a killer debut season and successful, ongoing sophomore outing, Only Murders in the Building has already been renewed for a third season.

The murder-mystery comedy stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, who in the current season investigate the shocking death of Arconia Board President and pain-in-the-a** neighbour Bunny Folger. However, the trio face complications: firstly, they have been publicly implicated in Bunny’s homicide. Second, they are the subjects of a competing and more successful podcast and lastly, they have to go on living in a building where everyone thinks they’ve gotten away with murder.

Only Murders in the Building season 2 welcomed Amy Schumer and Cara Delevingne to its supporting cast, with the former replacing Sting as the celebrity penthouse tenant. The second season has also been nominated for an Emmy in the Comedy Series category, with both Short and Martin receiving Lead Actor in a Comedy Series nominations.

Only Murders in the Building is the true crown jewel of our slate,” said President of Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment Craig Erwich. “Its appeal across generations, the intersection of humour and heart, and its truly original approach are a hallmark of and testament to Dan [Fogelman, executive producer], John [Hoffman, co-creator], Steve, Marty and Selena’s work. We are grateful to be able to continue telling the stories of Charles, Oliver and Mabel to viewers that have consistently shown us they crave more of this story.”

New episodes of the second season stream weekly on Tuesdays.
