As a new season of The CW’s Arrow is taking aim for an October premiere, an image has surfaced to show the shiny new ‘Arrow Cave’ that Oliver Queen and Co. will be calling home for Season 4.

For the last three seasons, Ollie and his cohorts have been using the basement of the Verdant nightclub as their base of operations, although the end of Season 3 saw the game change a little. Not only did Roy Harper take the fall for being The Arrow, Starling City’s finest also found the basement locale that contained all the Emerald Archer’s info, costumes, weapons, etc. So with Season 4 on the way, Team Arrow have been given a snazzy upgrade, as the larger concept art below (featured in EW) shows:

On the new base, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said, “In designing the new lair, we had to think in terms of the much larger group that Oliver has now surrounded himself with and how Team Arrow is a much bigger enterprise. One of the fun things about this lair is that as opposed to one big space, where everyone would congregate, it’s now a much larger space divided up into smaller spaces. There is an area for Felicity to work, there is an area for Oliver to work out, and there is a garage. There are many different places we’ll continue to discover over the course of the season that give you a sense that this thing is a bit bigger than we got used to in the first three years.”

The official synopsis on the upcoming Season 4 reads:

After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen (a.k.a. The Arrow) left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? Will Diggle, Thea, and Laurel be left to continue Oliver’s crusade without him? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, is anyone really safe?

Arrow returns to US screens on October 7th, with a UK return expected to follow shortly after.
