There are some fantastic classic horror movies heading to specialist streaming channel NYX UK in September, including four from the maestro Dario Argento to celebrate his birthday on September 7th, when there will be a double bill of Deep Red and Suspiria. Phenomena and Tenebrae will also be screened during the month.

There’s more Italian terror with a pair of films from Mario Bava, The Whip and the Body and Black Sabbath. The Nude Vampire, Lips of Blood, Rape of the Vampire, and Requiem of a Vampire represent French erotic horror specialist Jean Rollin. Roger Vadim’s unmissable Blood and Roses also gets a screening.

Some unforgettable classics from Roger Corman are also on the bill: The Terror, The Little Shop of Horrors, Last Woman on Earth, and A Bucket of Blood. Other movies include The Driller Killer, Dementia 13, Mark of the Devil, The Tingler, Plan 9 from Outer Space, and the brilliant early serial killer thriller M, directed by Fritz Lang and starring Peter Lorre.

Some fabulous anthologies are being screened: Dr Terror House of Horrors, The Devil’s Messenger, Tales from the Crypt, and the amazing Ealing thriller Dead of Night.

Hammer takes over on Sundays with The Horror of Frankenstein, The Vampire Lovers, The Gorgon, and Rasputin: The Mad Monk. There’s also a channel premiere for Mill of the Stone Women.

NYX UK can be found on Freeview 271, Channelbox App, TCL TVs, and Distro TV. For more information, head over to www.nyxtv.co.uk.
