We’ve heard how Universal is planning on restarting their classic monsters realm, but so far the only confirmed movie is THE MUMMY, to be directed by Alex Kurtzman from a John Spaihts script. Now comes word from Deadline that Noah Hawley will be penning one of the other movies in this monster-filled universe. Hawley is best known for acting as an executive producer on the FARGO TV series.

 

The big question is which film Hawley will be working on. As THE MUMMY is the only confirmed film at this stage, could Hawley be penning an outing for Van Helsing, Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, The Wolfman, The Invisible Man or even the Creature from the Black Lagoon? We’ll have to wait and see.

Expect more on this particular feature as it develops. Additionally, Kurtzman’s THE MUMMY is currently scheduled for a June 24th, 2016 release.
