What with this and that Jimmy Kimmel Wookie sketch a few months back, seems Harrison Ford is trying hard to shake that prickly persona he’s been stuck with for the past decade.

Or maybe it was just the mad cash they waved at him to star in this Japanese commercial promoting the PS3 and the upcoming sequel UNCHARTED 3. 

Whatever. It’s awesome either way.

And here’s some interesting behind the scenes stuff featuring Ford checking out the game for the first time…

‘Ok, ok, it’s Indy playing a character that was obviously heavily inspired by him, it’s meta – we get it! Now where’s this damn Launch Trailer you promised?!’ one or more of you might be saying right now. Cool ya boots, buzz kill – it’s right here…

UNCHARTED 3 is released on the PS3 November 1st in the US, and the 2nd across Europe.
