Now this is more like it! We’ll be honest – we weren’t impressed with our first glimpse of TINTIN here at Starburst (watch the teaser here) but this newly released full length trailer has restored a little faith in the project. See what you think…

Is it just me or does there seems to be an inconsistency in the quality of the motion capture? Some of it looks truly stunning – Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock is quite the stand out – but some other scenes look dreadful – the two pratfalls courtesy of Pegg & Frost’s Thompson twins don’t work at all. Still, there’s a few more months of post production left to go, so expect Spielberg and co to continue tweaking those pixels right up to the last minute.

I might actually be looking forward to this now!

THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: THE SECRET OF THE UNICORN will be released in Europe on the 26th October, and arrive in US theatres on the 23rd of December.
