What’s this? A film that isn’t a sequel, comic-book adaptation or remake?! Has Hollywood gone mad! 

Yep, amazingly TIME ZONES is based on an original script by GREEN LANTERN writer Marc Guggenheim.

The plot sees a global catastrophe ripping Earth’s geography apart and separating the planet into different ‘Time Zones’ – ie the UK could technically be a few hundred years ahead of the USA, while Australia could be a few hundred years behind, etc.

The movie’s protagonist will plot a calculated course around the world, using these Time Zones to essentially travel back in time… and save his dead wife!!! Somewhere along the way he also bumps into his estranged daughter, (though with time playing tricks, we hope they don’t go the OLDBOY route with that one).

The movie will be produced by Mark Gordon (SOURCE CODE).
