Captain Sternn, the lovable, lecherous, larcenous, double-crossing character made famous in the 1980 feature film HEAVY METAL, is coming back in a long-awaited animated series.

Created by legendary artist, Bernie Wrightson, he’s teamed up with the incredible talent of Kevin Kutchaver and Linda Drake of ‘Sheer Force of Will’ productions to bring this project to life as preproduction begins.

Stories will have the original characters from the HEAVY METAL segment including Hannibal and Sternn’s robot friend, the flying eye in the sky, while introducing new and unusual ones as his misadventures lead him throughout the galaxies.
