The Avengers is set to be one of the biggest films releases of 2012. Marvel have done a great job of building up hype, particularly through the post credit scenes. Let’s face it we all stay behind for the sneak peak.
It has now been rumoured that a new Villain will be joining the ranks to help keep the Superheroes’ hands full.
WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD – FOR THOR AND THE AVENGERS.
So far it has been announced that the main Villain will be Loki (Tom Hiddlestone) potentially with the Skrulls and the Cosmic Cube. The latter is something that we were introduced to in the post credit scene in Thor.

THANOS!!.
Marvel have hinted at this for a little while. During the San Diego Comic-Con they not only had replicas of Captain America’s shield but also of the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos’ main weapon. The Infinity Gauntlet can also be seen in Odin’s vault during the Thor movie.
In my opinion Thanos would be a great addition to the film, being one of the big bads of the Marvel Universe, it seems only right that he would come to the big screen at some point. If true this will be the greatest challenge that the Avengers of the Marvel Movie-Verse have faced to date, let’s hope the heroes are up to it*.
