If you are a horror fan chances are you know of the website Bloody Disgusting. What you may not know is they have moved into film distribution (they are the stateside distributors of THE WOMAN and ATROCIOUS) and now film production.

The first feature they will produce will be one of those anthology type movies except this time given a modern ‘found footage’ spin, tentatively titled V/H/S. They have lined up some great young horror filmmaking talent for this thing as well. The roster includes…Adam Wingard (YOU’RE NEXT, A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE), Ti West (HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, THE INKEEPERS), David Bruckner (THE SIGNAL) and Glenn McQuaid (I SELL THE DEAD).

It seems to be the right time to bring anthology based horror back again what with THE ABC’S OF DEATH, featuring the cream of the young filmmaking crop (26 of them), and Joe Lynch/Adam Green’s effort CHILLERAMA all heading our way at some point in 2012.
