Lord knows how long this has been available to pre-order on Amazon, but it only just came to attention today. Seems Titan Books, the publishers of the official CABIN IN THE WOODS novelisation have become as tired of waiting as the filmmakers and fans alike, and are releasing their product this week (October 28th to be precise). 

If you’re not currently mouthing ‘whhhaaaaaa?!’, then you’re either unaware of the ridiculously troubled history of the super-secret, Joss Whedon scripted, Drew Goddard helmed horror/comedy, or just plain couldn’t give a monkey’s. Originally completed back in 2009 and scheduled for a Halloween release that same year, it has since been routinely bumped from each subsequent slot. Not only did it fail to materialise then, but it didn’t come out in February 2010, or January 14th 2011 either. Last we heard, Lionsgate have scheduled it for April 2012. But we aren’t holding our breath.
