Not content with developing AVATAR 2 and 3, James Cameron is also set to produce another original* Sci-Fi movie in the form of MYTH.

Teaming up with his AVATAR star Sam Worthington and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura (TRANSFORMERS 3), the guys are set to bring us a new movie that promises to be “big, sci-fi, and has lots of action.” As the project has yet to be officially announced, plot details are nonexistent at this time – though we do know the screenplay will be penned by CALL OF DUTY writer WILL STAPLES.

What with this, Damon Lindelof’s secret movie franchise; Guillermo Del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM; and Tom Cruise’s OBLIVION – the next few years should be an interesting time for fans of original sci-fi film.

AVATAR 2 and 3 are scheduled for release in December 2014 and 2015 respectively.

*Okay, so AVATAR wasn’t exactly ‘original’ per se, but you get my point.
