You’ve seen all the films. You’ve taken up martial arts classes. You’ve even got the collection of albums from his lesser-known music career. What else can you do to prove yourself the No. 1 fan of Hong Kong superstar Jackie Chan?

You can buy a ticket to Beijing and visit JACKIE CHAN WORLD, that’s what.

Yes, Chan has announced plans to build his own theme park in the Chinese capital. Covering two square kilometres, JC World will have five sections, all offering different “cultural experiences”. While Chan hasn’t stated whether there’ll by typical theme park fare like roller coasters, he has promised to exhibit items from his personal collections, including antique furniture, jewellery, and historic Chinese sandalwood buildings (which he’s bought, restored, and donated to the park).

It doesn’t sound like Alton Towers at all, but the sheer surreality of this story is enough for Starburst to book our flights already. On the other hand, the Police Story Blu-ray double feature may be cheaper…
