We’ve all heard the rumours of a rift between STAR WARS stars Harrison Ford and Chewbacca, but neither have ever commented to the press as to the reason for the long-running feud. Until now.

During Ford’s obligatory promo duties for his upcoming movie COWBOYS & ALIENS yesterday, US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel made the ill-advised decision to attempt to re-unite the pair. You can see the results in the video below…

“She was my wife!” Funny stuff.

Ok, so not technically news but I thought you’d all get a kick out of it anyway. In all seriousness, isn’t it great to see the lighter side of Harrison Ford for once? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen him be anything other than a complete curmudgeon, tired of the industry and his legacy. Great to know that he still has a good sense of humour.

Someone who’s humour might need a little work however, is fellow STAR WARS veteran David Prowse, who busted out this little gem yesterday while opening a new Sense charity shop in West Wickham: “I sense a new force for charity retailing”, before cutting the ribbon with a toy lightsabre. Brutal.

COWBOYS & ALIENS opens in the UK on August 19th. The West Wickham branch of Sense opens Mon-Sat from 9am – 5pm. Pop in.
