There’s much confusion about GHOST RIDER:
THE SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE (read our previous article here for the deets), but
regardless of that there’s still much hope that this flick will do justice to
the fan-favourite Marvel character. It has a solid, wildly inventive writer/director
team in Neveldine & Taylor (CRANK 1 & 2), improved FX, and a
streamlined, non-origin story to have fun with, and if rumours are true Nicholas
Cage is delivering one of his trademark batpoop insane performances. These
first set of official stills from the movie are also very encouraging – most notably
Ghost Rider’s awesome new look! Check ’em out…
Here’s the official synopsis:
“It has been several years since making a deal with the Devil and Johnny Blaze, living in self-imposed isolation, finds himself as the only person who can help save 10-year-old Danny and ultimately the world thanks to his unwanted and uncontrollable power his ability to transform into the hell-on-wheels monster known as The Ghost Rider.”
Hopefully we’ll all be able to forgive the 2007 effort when GHOST RIDER: THE SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE opens in February next year.
