Writer Chuck Palahniuk has confirmed that he’s begun work on a sequel to his debut novel FIGHT CLUB, which will take place 10 years on from Narrator Jack/Joe defeating Tyler Durden. Palahniuk announced the project (which will be in the form of a graphic novel) at last weekend’s SDCC, and while most of the plot will remain under wraps for now, he did provide a few hints. It seems that life was so much more fun when Tyler was around – Marla is now bored, while Jack remains oblivious, sinking back into his boring middle aged suburban life. But something has changed… Marla and Jack have a boy! But as it’s so easy to slip back into boredom, that means it’s very easy to slip back in to being Tyler Durden. When their son goes missing – kidnapped by Tyler – it seems Jack and Tyler have to do the dance again, but Durden will want something in return for being trapped all these years.

Palahniuk will not be approaching publishers or artists until the story is complete, but a tentative 2015 release date has been mentioned.
