Despite Arnold’s current hiatus from the public eye, rumours of a fifth TERMINATOR film (much the same way as a T-800 Endoskeleton) refuse to die.

Most recently, Paul Walker – star of uber-successful car-porn franchise FAST AND FURIOUS (or whatever it’s called these days) – is rumoured to be taking the role of Kyle Reese in a story that sees the Terminator timeline split AGAIN. Justin Lin – director of some of the most popular entries into the uber-successful car-porn franchise FAST AND FURIOUS (or whatever it’s called these days) – is still attached to direct. For now at least.

The question is, will anybody gamble on further TERMINATOR movies ‘without’ Schwarzenegger’s presence should he choose to stay in celebrity exile? Consider SALVATION and CHRONICLES significant warning signs, studio folk. For whatever reason (cos let’s face it people, he’s always been a bit rubbish) it seems pretty clear: no Arnie, no audience.

If there any life in this franchise at all? Would Paul Walker be able to get bums on seats without Arnold’s involvement? Let us know with your comments below!
