Matt Reeves, director of the excellent found footage monster romp CLOVERFIELD, and the decent but ultimately pointless remake LET ME IN. Yep, we’re happy with that.

What is disappointing however, is the confirmation that Warner Bros are still sticking with their new approach to the franchise – unlike the patchy 1983 movie (Joe Dante’s NIGHTMARE AT 20,000 FEET was spectacular, but the less said about Spielberg’s KICK THE CAN the better), the new movie will instead spin a single tale as opposed to the more traditional anthology route. Which begs the question – why call it THE TWILIGHT ZONE at all?
