What’s this? A new sci-fi movie that isn’t
a sequel OR remake?! Madness!

Acclaimed cinematographer
turned director Cary Fukunaga (SIN NOMBRE) has landed SPACELESS, a Gore
Verbinski produced flick by writer Jeff Vintar (I, ROBOT) that tells the tale of an assassin who wakes to find himself drifting
through space after a hit gone wrong. With only his spacesuit’s in-built computer
for company, he must solve the mystery of his little predicament before his air
runs out.

Ok, so it might not be a sequel OR a
remake, but let’s face it – it’s basically the 2010 Ryan Reynolds in a box flick
BURIED. But in space.

No further deets are available as of yet in terms of release date or star, but we’ll keep you in the loop.

What do you guys think of the concept? Is
it strong enough to sustain a feature? Are you a fan of Fukunaga’s work? Let us
know with your Comments below!
