Could the long-proposed sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 horror comedy classic BEETLEJUICE finally be happening? It looks like it!

According to Hollywood know-it-alls Deadline, producing due David Katzenberg & Seth Grahame-Smith, who have just signed a two year deal with Warner Bros, are aiming to bring back the ‘Ghost with the Most’ as their first feature! Even better – IT’S NOT A REMAKE! How refreshing!

No word yet whether the guys will bring back Keaton, but it’s hard to imagine why they wouldn’t. And as Keaton has continued to sing the original’s praises for the last few decades we’re sure they’d have little problem signing him. In fact, as recently as last year Keaton said “Oh I’d do that in a heartbeat. Absolutely, that’s the one thing I’d love to do again. That’s the only one I’d love to do.”

It would also be nice to get Burton back on board also, but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.

More details as they come in!

Who’s up for BEETLEJUICE 2 then? Is Keaton’s involvement a deal-breaker, or is there anybody else you could imagine in the role? (The answer to that question is yes, then no – just trying to prompt debate). Anyway! Let us know in the Comments or on Twitter @Starburst_Mag
